Radek Kucera
Founder and Managing Partner

Prior to forming Halcyon together with Tomas, Radek spent time in London with leading financial institutions including J.P. Morgan, Man Group, Societe Generale and several others. During his studies at University College London, he spent a year working at the Czech Embassy in London to complement his financial background. Additionally, Radek has spent over 3 years of helping build up one of the largest conference and market inteligence platforms for investing in commercial real estate and distressed assets in CEE, where he helped arranged major institutional and corporate partnerships with the likes of the World Bank and International Finance Corporation as well as originate several transactions. Apart from his work in Real Estate, Radek sits on the board of Prague Finance Institute and fund-raises for several different charities and NGOs in Prague and London.

Within Halcyon, Radek focuses on origination of transactions and communication with clients - investors, developers, landlords and financial institutions.

Tomas Suda
Head of Advisory Board

Tomas has 13 years of experience in sourcing, execution and management of real estate investment projects across the CEE region. Prior to forming Halcyon, Tomas was a partner in one of the leading UK-based hedge funds where he was responsible for managing CEE strategy and real estate investments. Over his tenure, Tomas was involved in transactions surpassing $1.7 billion in residential real estate, debt and various other investment strategies. Tomas also practiced real estate law as a lawyer with the biggest Czech law firm Havel and Partners.

 Tomas holds a double degree from Charles University in Prague in law and mathematics and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

 Apart from his robust experience in real estate, Tomas started his career as a consultant at McKinsey.

At Halcyon, Tomas is the head of it’s advisory board, helping in transaction structuring, execution and oversight of running investments or development projects for clients or HCP.
